Josh Allen continues to play with a chip on his shoulder as he’s led the Buffalo Bills to their first AFC East title since 1995. The New England Patriots are most likely reeling over relinquishing that crown, but they don’t stand much of a chance in this game. 888sport has the Bills as -7 home (-110) favourites.

Bills time to shine
The New England Patriots have owned the AFC East for roughly two decades. 2020 will forever be remembered as the year of the terrible COVID-19 pandemic, but it’ll also be remembered as the year Tom Brady jumped ship for Tampa and the year that the Buffalo Bills usurped the throne.
The Patriots are weren’t anything special in 2019 when Tom Brady was still there, but they still made the playoffs. They’re 6-8 and are eliminated from playoff contention for the first time since 2008.
The Kansas City Chiefs look like the most likely team to represent the AFC in Super Bowl LV, but don’t sleep on the Bills, who boast the second-ranked passing offense averaging 278.5 yards per game. Josh Allen is playing out of his mind and is averaging an excellent passer rating of 104.2. He’s thrown for 30 touchdowns, nine interceptions, and has rushed for eight touchdowns.
The Cam Newton experiment hasn’t gone as well as expected in his first year with the Patriots. He missed a few games, but he’s only thrown for five touchdowns and ten interceptions and is averaging a passer rating of 79.6. New England’s secondary will be missing shutdown cornerback Stephon Gilmore, which means that Stefon Diggs will have even more opportunities.
888sport has the Bills as -7 road favourites, but are trying to clinch the 2nd seed in the AFC. It’s a lot of points to cover on the road against a division rival, but the Patriots are simply outclassed.
