NFL Week 9 Bills vs Seahawks
Buffalo Bills vs Seattle Seahawks, NFL, Bills Stadium

The 6-1 Seattle Seahawks travel to the East coast to face off against the 6-2 Buffalo Bills. The Seahawks are the top NFC and are favoured by 888sport to win by -3.5 (1.84). The Bills are a top-three team in the AFC and will try to take the Seahawks down a few pegs.

Bills Ground the ‘Hawks

This should be one of the better games this weekend. The Buffalo Bills are currently third in overall AFC standings behind only the undefeated Pittsburgh Steelers and the Baltimore Ravens. At 6-2, they’ve been one of the more consistent contenders in the league.

The Bills have the highest third-down conversion percentage in the league at 51.58%. Seattle’s defense has been putrid, and they allow the 26th most third-down conversions per game at 6.4.

The Seattle Seahawks are one of the best teams in the league. They’re averaging the most points per game at 34.3. Russell Wilson and DK Metcalf have an amazing connection and are setting the NFL world on fire. Every Seahawks game has been high-scoring and their lone loss this season came against the Arizona Cardinals in an overtime thriller back in Week 7.

Oddsmakers clearly think the Seahawks are much better than the Bills, and while that may be true, I really like the Bills this week against them this weekend. The Seahawks are traveling coast-to-coast to play in an early game, and while they’re more than capable of beating the Bills, I like the betting value to be found in favour of the Bills.

I think the Seahawks are the better team overall, but given the circumstances, I can see the Bills covering the spread at home, which 888sport has set at +2.5. but I prefer the value for taking them straight up on the Moneyline (2.20 888sport)
