The New York Jets will travel to Arrowhead Stadium, where they’ll go up against the Kansas City Chiefs. The 0-7 Jets will need a miracle to beat the high-rolling Chiefs, but anything is possible. 888sport has the Chiefs as -19.5 favourites.

Kansas City Chiefs vs New York Jets, NFL, Arrowhead Stadium
Not This Week, Jets
The Kansas City Chiefs will face the New York Jets in Week 8. That’s it for this game’s preview. Good luck!
Just kidding, but that pretty much sums up this game and the entire season for both teams. The Kansas City Chiefs are arguably the best team in the NFL, and the New York Jets are probably the worst team in the NFL.
The Chiefs are rolling as usual and are coming off a frigid road game where they stomped the Denver Broncos 43-16. The Chiefs are on another level, and the Broncos are nowhere near as bad as the Jets are. Can you imagine what they’re going to do to them at home?
It won’t be pretty.
The Chiefs rank in the top ten in virtually every major offensive statistical category, and the opposite is true for the Jets, who rank in the bottom ten in most categories.
888sport has the Chiefs as huge favourites at -19.5 (1.91). That is A LOT of points. Normally, I would stay away from point spreads like this one and as I was preparing to write this preview, I tried to recall if I had ever taken the favourite on such a high point spread.
I don’t think I ever have, but I’m so confident in the Jets’ ineptitude and the supremacy of the Kansas City Chiefs that I believe that this will be a serious blowout. The Jets are horrible, and I don’t care that they’re 4-6 ATS against the Chiefs in their last ten meetings, because this season is a different story.
Anything is possible, but this Jets team is one of the worst football teams I’ve ever seen. If they somehow beat the Chiefs this weekend, I may retire from sports writing and seek therapy. Take the Chiefs, guys, seriously.
