The Green Bay Packers are coming off a loss the Colts in Week 11 but try to get back on track against a rested Chicago Bears team that had been struggling to generate on offense. Anything is possible, but the Packers should be able to take advantage of the Bears’ offensive woes and emerge as the top dogs in the NFC North. 888sport has Green Bay as -8.5 home favourites (-110)

Green Bay Packers vs Chicago Bears, NFL, Lambeau Field
Can the Bears keep it close?
The Green Bay Packers are one of the best teams in the NFL, but they do have their flaws and are coming off a close loss on the road to the Indianapolis Colts.
Aaron Rodgers did what he could, but the underrated Colts play hard and were able to force a fumble in overtime and come away with the win. Nevertheless, the Packers remain an elite team and should have their way with a slightly above-average Bears defense.
This is a super-bitter rivalry, but the Packers have dominated the Bears going 8-2 SU and 6-4 ATS in their last 10 meetings.
The Bears have virtually no run game, so they will have to create plays through the air but they seem incapable of scoring more than 20 points in a single contest. They will most likely be playing from behind, which means that the Packers may be able to capitalize on the poor play of Nick Foles.
888sport has the OVER/UNDER set at 45 (-110), and with the Bears offensive woes considered, I think it’ll end up being a passive game.
Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams can light up the scoreboard seemingly at will, but divisional matchups are always tough, and if
the Bears’ edge rushers can create pressure on Rodgers it might not be such a cakewalk for the Packers offense, though I do think they will end up winning, regardless.
Low-scoring game here, ladies and gentleman. Take the UNDER.
Stats
- Chicago is 7-13 ATS in their last 20 games
- The UNDER has cashed in 6 of Chicago’s last 7 games
- Green Bay is 2-4 ATS in their last 6 games
- Green Bay is 10-2 SU in their last 12 games at home against Chicago
