Jon Gruden and his gang of silver and black prepare to host their long-time rivals, the Kansas City Chiefs. The Raiders aim to prove that last time wasn’t a fluke by stealing yet another game against the high-flying Chiefs. 888sport has the reigning champs as -6.5 (-120) favourites on the road.

Chiefs’ Payback or Raiders Repeat?
Back in Week 5, I predicted that the Las Vegas Raiders would be able to keep things close in their game against the Kansas City Chiefs. That game was at Arrowhead Stadium, and not only did the Raiders cover the high point spread of +10.5, but they also ended up winning 40-32.
The Chiefs’ lone loss this season was in this game, but apart from that, they’ve otherwise dominated the competition, including wins against teams like the Buffalo Bills and Baltimore Ravens.
If not for the Chiefs, the Raiders would be the top dog in their division, as they’re 6-3 and are coming off wins against the Los Angeles Chargers and Denver Broncos.
The run game has the potential to explode given the right matchup, as we saw Josh Jacobs annihilate the Broncos’ defensive line for 112 rushing yards and two scores. The Chiefs provide another fantastic matchup for the Raiders as they allow the fourth-most rushing yards per game at 138.4.
The rivalry between these two teams makes it difficult to predict the winner, although I think that their loss the first time around was more of an aberration than anything else. Kansas City has the upper hand with wins in 8 of their last 10 meetings with Las Vegas, but I believe the Raiders can keep it within a touchdown at home.
Will they win again? I don’t think so but take the points.
