NFL Week 13 Giants at Seahawks
Seattle Seahawks vs New York Giants, NFL, Lumen Field

The 4-7 New York Giants prepare to face the Seattle Seahawks, who have only lost three games this season.  Thanks to an archaic NFL playoff format, the Giants have a legitimate shot at making the playoffs, but they may drop a game this weekend against a far superior team, whom 888sport has favoured by -10.0 (110).

Jones-less Giants will struggle

The NFL has inexplicably kept the same tired playoff format for decades that allows teams like this year’s New York Giants to sneak in.  They’re 4-7 and may end up as winners of the pathetic NFC East division, but they’re going to have a tough date this weekend when they visit the Seahawks.

The Seattle Seahawks are 8-3 and have only lost to Arizona, Buffalo, and Los Angeles, who are all playoff-bound.  Russell Wilson has regressed a bit since starting the season blazing-hot, but he’s still playing at a high level and is averaging a career-best passer rating of 110.8.

The Seahawks defense has been poor all season, and the Giants have been effective at covering the spread, going 7-4 in their 11 games this season.  Daniel Jones will most likely miss this game with a hamstring injury, which means their already dismal offense will suffer even further.

The UNDER has cashed in 4 of the Giants’ last 6 games and 4 of Seattle’s last 6 games against an NFC opponent.  The Seahawks should take care of the Giants effortlessly, but I don’t see the Giants scoring many points, so I think the UNDER will hit.  888sport is offering great value on this match parlay at +132 for bettors looking to shake things up.  The Giants won’t be very competitive this weekend, and it’s almost a guarantee that the Seahawks will win.
