The Los Angeles Rams were able to secure a spot for Wild Card Weekend with a win in Week 17. The Rams’ John Wolford performed admirably in place of the injured Jared Goff, but can he repeat that effort against the Seattle Seahawks this weekend? 888sport has the Seahawks as -4 (-109) home favourites.

Final NFC West Battle
The Seattle Seahawks ended up taking the NFC West crown this year, as both the Arizona Cardinals and the Los Angeles Rams stumbled late in the season.
The Rams were able to find their way to the playoffs by virtue of their excellent defense, which scored nine points against the Cardinals in Week 17. In his first career, John Wolford played well as he threw for 231 yards and rushed for another 56. Jared Goff may be ready to go following thumb surgery, which may change things a little bit, but regardless, it’s a tough decision for the Rams to make because Goff has not played well this season.
The Seahawks ended up with a 12-4 record and beat the Rams 20-9 just a couple of weeks ago. Russell Wilson has cooled off since the start of the season, but he’s a grinder who shines in the playoffs. Wilson is 9-6 in career playoff games and could make it ten this weekend. The Rams’ defense can limit virtually any quarterback, but if anybody can find a way around them, it’s Wilson.
I think the Seahawks finally end the Rams’ 2020 season this weekend, but I’m not comfortable betting on them to cover the point spread, which 888sport has set at -4 (-110). The Seahawks are just 4-8 ATS in their last 12 games and 5-5 in their previous ten games against the Rams.
The Rams’ defense can limit virtually any quarterback, but if anybody can find a way around them, it’s Wilson. Nothing about the Rams’ offense this season scares anyone, and with a recent victory against them, the Seahawks’ confidence will be sky-high. In Week 16, both teams scored a combined 29 points in their matchup. The UNDER has cashed in seven of Seahawks’ last eight games and 11 of the Rams’ last 13 games.
It’s a no-brainer. Smash the UNDER.
Stats
- Los Angeles is 3-13 SU in their last 16 games on the road against Seattle
- The UNDER has cashed in 4 of Los Angeles’ last 6 games on the road
- Seattle is 4-8 ATS in their last 12 games
- The UNDER has cashed in 12 of Seattle’s last 18 games against Los Angeles
